Friend and Dj Glasgow disco devil Billy Woods (Supermax/Ghost Town), returns to the Brunswick Hotel in Merchant City Glasgow on Sat 28th August for a special discoteca birthday party!. The club celebrates it's third birthday, which as always guarantees to be a very special night. Expect a stunning soundtrack of Disco, Italo, Balearic, Electronic, Boogie, Prog, House and Rock'n'Roll. Billy,s party's have always been great, harnessing the sound of the Bozak mixer alongside the Bobby Balmain soundsystem, bringing an amazing audio sound and atmospheric to the club nights.

Billy also play's at Supermax Warehouse party on Saturday 11th September at SWG3 (Studio Warehouse Glasgow), alongside Optimo's Jonnie Wilkes (JD Wilkes) and later in the month at a special One Off Discoteca night in Max's Bar La Cheetah club in Glasgow on Friday 24th September alongside the great Daniel Wang (Balihu Records). Rayko

Some stunning new releases over the last few months from Spain's great producer Rayko. The man has been working hard, and has seen releases on some of the best labels out there such as Eskimo Recordings, Rare Wiri, Top Shelf, Is It Balearic?, Love monk, Kodak Giant Sounds and Relux Rimini. His remixes, edits and original productions take on an amazing sound of there own. With top spec tweaks and production, staying very close to a warm analogue type sound, these are a pleasure to the listener.

He has lent his hand to some great remixes of the last while by artists such as Space Ranger with the track "Superstring", Marbeya Sounds " Non Reciprocal", Beatfanatic's "Guide" and Giulio DJ with "Inner Life". His new Release on Traveller records "Disco Mutante" see's him deliver another another electronic balearic bomb, with a remix from Ilya Santana on the B side. Definitely one to keep your eyes and ears looking out for....

The Addiction

Billy Bogus (Niccolo Bruni) the proud founder of the great Pizzico Records from Italy returns to Piece Together with a exclusive fantastic new mix. The new mix "The Addiction" named after him and label partner Sal's brilliant new release on Opilec Music. These fine producers, constantly inspired by new wave, Italo disco, hip hop and early vibes bring to the floor this stunning new release. The track "The Addiction" is a real tribute to old school breakin tunes, sci-fi, horror movies and Italo sounds. The original mix takes us into the world of mysterious soundscapes, proudly paraphrasing the masterwork of great director Abel Ferrara that the track authors Bogus & Sal have revered for a longtime.

Stepping up on the remix duties is the brilliant Nemesi, another pen name by Opilec label boss Gianluca Pandullo. Gianluca who is know for his great breakthrough's and discovery's in Italo disco, that in 2000 would see the release of the superb and famous compilation "I-Robots- Italo Electro disco underground classics", he was also signed for Boys Noize Recordings for the
hit "Frau", for Ornaments for the electronic tune "Perfect Logic Circle" and for Headman's Relish Recordings with the Nemesi project. He has been remixed by the likes of Lindstrom, Prins Thomas & Daniele Baldelli. A top new release worth checking out.

Great new release from Solardisco, who are proud to announce new signing Enzo Ponzio to the roster. The Sicilian has been making some seriously cool nu-disco of late and has released on the likes of top labels Pizzico and Bear Funk, also with an upcoming release on Glasgow Underground with remixes from the Idjut Boys and Ichisan.

"A New Way" is a typically robust peak time nu-disco affair bursting with quality production and sounds, while " Ready To Flight" heads deep into Italo territory, again this is aimed firmly at the dance floor.
